English Translation:"Between
Borders" "Within
trackless borders and mountains. On dark starless nights we bring endless
convoys of our brothers to the homeland. We will open gates here for
the babes and sucklings, for the young and the old we guard the walls here. If the gate is locked and
cannot be opened we will shatter it.We will batter every wall and enlarge
evry crack till it bursts."
The Israeli Hebrew version
of the patriotic song – `Between Borders` (In Hebrew - "Bein Gvulot").Words
in Hebrew version by Poet Haim hefer. The song "Bein Gvulot" was
used by the Zionist Movement prior to the establishment of the State of
Israel. During the Forties via the
"HAAPALA" or illegal immigration to Palestine. The "Haapala" was the way
of socialist Zionism as a solution to the Jewish problem.
